For DVD purchases
Before deciding to purchase a DVD please be sure to preview the video to ensure you are satisfied with the content … exchange or refund is only available if the DVD itself is technically defective.

All DVDs purchased from Ziln are covered by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If any DVD you receive is technically faulty return it to us with details of the fault and we will exchange it for another copy freight free. If this title is no longer available or we are out of stock for 14 days, we will give you the option of:
1. Waiting for the title to come back into stock after we have advised you of the expected delivery time.
2. Choosing another title to the same value.
3. Receiving a full refund to the same value. The refund will be paid in the same manner that the payment was made. i.e. Payments made by credit card are only refunded back to that same credit card.

The DVD you return remains at your risk until it is delivered to us. If we accept your returns claim we will pay the equivalent postage cost of returning the disc to us.

For Download and View-on-demand Purchases
Before deciding to purchase a video please be sure to preview the video to ensure you are satisfied with the content and that your computer will play the Apple QuickTime file. Once that purchase has been made we do not offer a cash refund or an exchange unless the download or View-on-demand stream is technically corrupted and cannot play on any computer.

If the preview video does not play it may be because your computer does not have QuickTime. Click here for a FREE QuickTime Version 7 player. If you are accessing through a corporate network it may be that the corporate firewall is not configured properly. Information about this can be found at the bottom of this window.

To play the videos requires a compatible computer, Internet or private network access and software that may require obtaining updates or upgrades from time to time. Your ability to use the service may also be affected by hardware, software and Internet/network performance. Such system requirements and compatibilities remain your responsibility.

Please note that a refund is only available if you e-mail enquiries@ziln.co.nz with notification of the fault within 10 working days of receipt of the video file. You must provide a detailed description of your actions and information about the error supported by evidence such as screen-shots of the video window and error messages. Please also attach a copy of the invoice.

Obtaining Screenshots.

On a PC
Click the 'Print Screen' button on the keyboard and open 'Paint' (Start > Programs > Accessories > Paint) or any other image editing application. Press 'Control+V'' or select 'Paste' from the edit menu to open the screenshot, then save as a JPEG.

On a MAC
To take a picture of the whole screen, press Apple+Shift+3. To take a picture of part of the screen, press Apple-Shift-4, then drag to select the area you want in the picture.

Screen shots are saved as files on the desktop. You can then paste the picture into an email and send to enquiries@ziln.co.nz

When trying to watch a streaming view-on-demand video (not download) and get the message: "-3285 Disconnected" or "10060 Disconnected" you are probably behind a firewall and need to make some adjustments to the QuickTime preferences on your computer. Please download the QuickTime & Firewall Settings PDF and follow the instructions.

When trying to watch a streaming view-on-demand video (not download) through a corporate network it may be that the corporate firewall is not configured properly. The External Firewall Configurations PDF may be of value to your IT Administrator.

Transactions and Currency
All transactions require the use of a VISA or Mastercard credit card. Some videos are available for international distribution. All Ziln Shop purchases include GST and all sales will be charged in New Zealand dollars. International purchasers will be responsible for any currency conversion fees incurred on their credit card.

Permitted Licence Uses and Restrictions
The videos in the Ziln Shop are for private viewing only. All rights of the producer and of the owners of rights in each video offered in the Ziln Shop are reserved. Unauthorised copying, duplication, transcoding, burning to disc, hiring, lending, exhibition, public performance, communication to the public, (including the Internet, radio and television broadcast), in whole or part, of each video is strictly prohibited. The delivery of videos does not transfer to you any commercial or promotional use rights in them. You agree that you will not attempt to, or encourage or assist any other person to, circumvent or modify any security technology or software that is part of the service. Ziln and the video producers reserve the right to remove or edit any videos in the Ziln Shop at any time in their sole discretion without notice or liability.

Termination
This Licence is effective until terminated. Your rights under this Licence will terminate automatically without notice from Ziln limited if you fail to comply with any term(s) of this Licence. Upon the termination of this Licence you shall cease all use of the video and destroy all full or partial copies of it.

Privacy Policy
Except as otherwise expressly provided for in this Agreement, the Service is subject to the Ziln Privacy Policy as displayed on this website which is expressly made a part of this Agreement. If you have not already read the Ziln Privacy Policy, you should do so now.

Penalties
Under the Copyright Amendment Act 1996, individuals face up to 5 years imprisonment and up to NZ$50,000 fine per offence. Corporations face up to NZ$250,000 fine per offence.
